![]() I'm surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did, considering a few years back I couldn't stand reading the first volume. That said, it's still a perfectly enjoyable little slice of fluffy 90's magical girl shoujo manga. Even Usagi (aka, Sailor Moon) is looking at these guys with a perplexed look on her face lol. yeaaaaahh, don't take this series seriously, folks. ![]() and using literal wedding themed aesthetics to beat the bad guys. Wedding Peach is definitely ridiculous, taking the whole "power of love" to a whole other meaning, where the girls kick ass. People say it's too much like Sailor Moon, I say it's closer to Tokyo Mew Mew, especially with the villains roles (won't spoil it here). And now there's this forgotten bit of silly fluff, Wedding Peach. I have yet to experience "old school" magical girl titles from the 70's and 80's, but I have consumed quite a new of relatively known titles from the 90's and early 2000's. Everyone compares the genre back to the iconic Sailor Moon franchise, but that's unfair because the genre as we know it existed long before the 90's. I really have been on a "magical girls" kick these past couple years.
